From 8:00AM to 3:00PM

The Prineville Airport and Experimental Aircraft Association Chapter 617 are sponsoring “Wings and Wheels”, an airport open house and fly-in at the airport on August 10, 2013 from 8 am to 3 pm. The public is invited to attend. Admission is free. The objective of the fly-in is to be a fun gathering for pilots and the public, and to generate interest in and exposure to aviation. Activities include a pancake breakfast from 8am to 10am, aircraft displays, classic cars, a flight simulator, discovery flights, and raffles. CASA advocates are ordinary citizens from all walks of life. They are dedicated to promoting the needs of children who have been removed from their parents' care due to neglect or physical, emotional or sexual abuse. No special experience or background is required and volunteers are selected on the basis of their objectivity, competence, and commitment. Volunteers receive 34 hours of training ranging from courtroom procedure to the Juvenile Justice system to the special needs of abused and neglected children. Join us for CASA 101 Bend: Tues.
