The Prineville Airport and Experimental Aircraft Association Chapter 617 are sponsoring “Wings and Wheels”, an airport open house and fly-in at the airport on August 10, 2013 from 8 am to 3 pm. The public is invited to attend. Admission is free. The objective of the fly-in is to be a fun gathering for pilots and the public, and to generate interest in and exposure to aviation. Activities include a pancake breakfast from 8am to 10am, aircraft displays, classic cars, a flight simulator, discovery flights, and raffles. From 5:00PM to 6:30PM

No-cost pre-participation sports physicals – FOR BOYS The Center on NE Neff Road (Westside of St. Charles Hospital)Thursday Aug 8th. Register from 5-6:30. physicals begin at 5:30 (first come first served) For 6th through 12th grade boys planning to play school sports or intramurals during the 2012-13 school year. The physicals meet the state pre-play requirements and are not intended to replace an annual well-child exam. Students MUST have parent or guardian signature on the state required physical form BEFORE receiving the physical. A $10 donation is appreciated to help cover costs.
