Central Districts High School Equestrian 1st Meet

Central District of the Oregon High School Equestrian Teams (OHSET) will have their 1st meet February 21-23, 2014 in the arena of the Bank of the Cascades Event Center at Deschutes County Fair & Expo, in Redmond. The Central District is made up of teams from Bend, Crook, Dufur, La Pine, Madras, Mountain View, Pendleton, Redmond, Ridgeview, Sherman, Sisters, Summit, The Dalles and Trinity Lutheran. Each day of the meet usually starts at approximately 8:30 a.m. Friday’s events are Equitation over Fences, Dressage, Hunt Seat Equitation, Saddle Seat Equitation, In Hand Obstacle Relay, Working Pairs and Drill. Saturday’s events are Western Horsemanship, Working Rancher, Showmanship, Trail, In Hand Trail, Driving, Reining, and Team Penning. Sunday’s events are Bi-Rangle, Canadian team flags, Barrels, Poles, Keyhole, Individual flags and Figure 8. The event is free and vendors will be on site. Come support your local equestrians! Please leave dogs at home. Cowboy church is at 7 a.m. on Sunday morning. Events end mid afternoon on Sunday. Jake's Clothing & Food Drive

It is the Middle of Winter CLOTHING AND FOOD DRIVE Jake’s Diner Now through February Donations accepted of food, clothing, blankets, sleeping bags and other essentials. Items collected will go directly to the homeless who need it through the Central Oregon Veteran’s Outreach.
