ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) - Two men were arrested and authorities searched for a 17-year-old boy after the three allegedly tried to attack another group with a metal pipe, according to police.
The attack was reported to officers along the 400 block of 8th Street South in St. Cloud around 9:45 p.m. Saturday.
Three victims at the scene told police a group of people riding in a vehicle drove past them on 8th Street when someone jumped out of the vehicle and tried to hit all three of the victims with a metal pipe.
No one was hurt during the incident.
Officers located and stopped the vehicle a short time later on the 1300 block of 8th Street South and arrested Jeremy Daniel Pallister, 21, of St. Cloud; and Matthew Paul Dehncke, 20, of Paynesville.
A 17-year-old boy also inside the vehicle fled the scene during the traffic stop. Investigators determined the teen was the person wielding the pipe and he was expected to be charged with second degree assault, fleeing police and disorderly conduct once he's apprehended.
Pallister and Dehncke were booked into the Stearns County on disorderly conduct and obstructing police charges and released Sunday.
