Deschutes County 911 says, despite snow and rain throughout Central Oregon, this morning has been mostly quiet for accidents.  Sheriff Larry Blanton says road conditions across Central Oregon are varied, there's rain in the north, several inches of snow in the south, and in the mountains lots and lots of snow. “People are thinking about spring vacation and travel. Make sure your car is; chains fit, be careful traveling in Central Oregon can be tricky .” Blanton says, with a high wind warning, drivers also need to watch out for downed trees.
