REDMOND, OR -- Nosler has purchased 60 acres near the Redmond Airport for an expansion of their Central Oregon operations. Zach Waterman with Nosler, says the gun and ammo company expects to hire 20 new workers to staff the facility. "Nosler at its current location was growing faster than the physical space that we have available to us. So we were looking for somewhere to expand; and with the acquisition of the Silver State Armory up in Washington we needed some extra space."
The Bend-based gun and ammo company plans to build a 30,000' square facility on the property to store ammunition and cartridge brass operations. Waterman says there's not a clera timeline for the facility to become operational, and hiring won't take place until after machineray is installed.
