BEND, OR -- A 16-year-old girl was seriously injured in a rollover crash near Knott Road on the south end of Bend, Tuesday night. Witnesses say the car was speeding before it crashed through a fence near Brosterhous Road at about 8:15 p.m.

The 19-year-old driver, Raven Bright, and a 14-year-old passenger ran to a nearby home for help. The 16-year-old was unconscious and pinned in the car. She was taken to St. Charles Bend, then later flown to Portland for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

Bright is charged with driving under the influence and reckless driving. She and the 14-year-old were treated at the hospital and released.
