PRINEVILLE, OR -- Prineville’s new men’s shelter celebrates its Grand Opening, Monday. Regeneration House will host a ribbon cutting at 5:30 at its new location at 970 Northwest Madras Highway.
The previous men’s shelter had to be vacated to allow for construction of the new Crook County Jail. Redemption Ministries manages "Regeneration House," which is expected to house up to 16 men and provide services like job placement, and drug and alcohol treatment. Crews broke ground on the facility a month ago (pictured).
Monday's grand opening celebration includes tours and a raffle, as well as appetizers and S'mores by the fire; festivities begin at 4 p.m.
