BEND, OR -- The Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office continues to search for a suspect in a weekend hit and run that injured a bicyclist. The incident occurred Saturday at about 10:30 a.m., near Skyline Ranch Road and Macalpine Loop. The cyclist was seriously injured and taken to the hospital.

Witnesses described the suspect vehicle as a blue mid-sized pickup with a white canopy, similar in size to a Dodge Dakota. Officials Sunday released surveillance images of a vehicle seen in the area around the time of the crash, matching the description of the suspect vehicle.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Sheriff’s Office through non-emergency dispatch, at 541-693-6911.
