Bend Man Accused of Overnight Hit and Run

BEND, OR -- A Bend man is accused of crashing into several parked cars in Bend and Tumalo, early Wednesday morning. 
According to the Sheriff's Office, a hit and run victim reported a crash at Jake's Diner, in Bend, just after midnight. About 30 minutes later, several more cars were struck at Tumalo Tavern.


Based on the original victim's statements, deputies determined the same pickup was responsible for both incidents and located the suspect vehicle in Tumalo. The driver refused to pull over, leading deputies on a pursuit that never got over 55 miles an hour. The chase ended after he ran over spike strips at Highway 97 and Cooley Road. 


They arrested 34-year-old Randall Kilby without further incident. He's accused of violating his parole, Felony Attempt to Elude, Reckless Driving, two counts of Criminal Mischief, three counts of Recklessly Endangering Another, three counts of Failure to Perform the Duties of a Driver and Driving While Criminally Revoked.
