Attempted Kidnapping

REDMOND, OR -- Redmond Police responded to the Grocery Outlet parking lot Sunday afternoon about 5:35 after a transient tried to enter a vehicle of a man who had two children in his car. Police say the father had seat belted his son and daughter in the rear seat. He noticed a man nearby watching him and asked if he needed anything. The man…later identified as  34-year old Jeremy Dubisar….said no. The father locked the car and went to the passenger side of the vehicle to check on his daughter. At that time Dubisar allegedly tried to enter the car but couldn’t because it was locked. The father confronted Dubisar who walked away. Police were called and when they approached Dubisar he resisted. Dubisar was on parole on a Kidnapping charge. He’s now jailed on several charges including Attempted Kidnap, Resisting Arrest and Assault of a Police Officer.
