Brothers Fight, Both Injured; One Jailed

DESCHUTES COUNTY -- On Saturday night at about 7:15, 911 received a call about a fight between brothers at the 19-thousand  block of Buck Canyon Rd. Deschutes County Deputies arrived and found 27 year old, Joshua Adam Fadness, in front of the house with non-life threatening injuries. Fadness was taken into custody without incident. Investigators found that Joshua and his brother, Jacob had been arguing and both men fell to the ground where they wrestled. During the struggle, Joshua Fadness pulled a large caliber pistol from his waistband and began striking Jacob in the face and head. Jacob was unarmed and sustained substantial non-life threatening injuries.  Family members also struggled with Joshua while attempting to disarm him and also received minor injuries. Both men received treatment for their injuries at St. Charles Bend. Police say alcohol appears to be a factor in the incident. Joshua Fadness now jailed on charges of Assault, Unlawful Use of a Weapon, and Reckless Endangering.
