DESCHUTES COUNTY, OR  -- The Deschutes County Sheriff is asking the public for help in locating a vehicle involved in a Sunday hit-and-run. A Redmond woman, Michaela Conley, was headed to work in Bend  and at the intersection of Tumalo Road and Old Bend Redmond highway a pickup slammed into Conley’s side door. The pickup sped off. Central Oregon Daily reports witnesses saw the driver run a stop sign. Witnesses also told investigators the driver was on a cellphone. Police need information about an older Ford pickup, maybe from the 1990’s, super duty two tone truck, dark blue and tan with possible out of state plates. Anyone with information asked to call police.
