BEND, OR -- It's time to clean out drawers and the medicine cabinet of unused prescription drugs. This Saturday is Drug Take Back Day. The goal is to prevent misuse of prescription drugs by family members and children. The DEA's Cam Strom says old, outdated drugs you no longer use can be dangerous.  Last April, residents of Oregon, Washington, Idaho and Alaska turned in nearly 38-thousand pounds of prescription medications. There are 215 collection sites in the Northwest. The DEA website will find the site nearest you.
