CENTRAL OREGON -- Young people who have problems now have an option to talk, text, email or chat with someone who is a peer. It’s called the Oregon Youth Line and the Regional Coordinator Mel Butterfield, says young people use it for any number of reasons…ranging from problems in school to thoughts of suicide. Butterfield says young people can log onto https://oregonyouthline.org/ The site has four tabs that say, call, text, chat and email. By clicking on one of the tabs, the young person will be connected to a peer, any way they choose.
