SALEM, OR -- The Oregon Legislature meets for a short session in February but some think legislative leaders may try…again…to pass a Cap and Trade Bill. State Senator Tim Knopp says the walkout this year by Senate Republicans was the only way they could stop a bill that had many flaws. Knopp says the majority party ignored the concerns of many of the constituents of Republicans. He says if a Cap and Trade bill resurfaces next year, he hopes legislative leaders will deal with it in a more bipartisan manner.
