Redmond Gets Money For Bus Service

REDMOND, OR -- The City of Redmond has received money from the 2017 State Transportation Improvement Plan, known as STIP. Mayor George Endicott says they’ll use the more than half a million dollars to establish two fixed bus routes that will operate 10 hours a day, five days a week. Endicott says Redmond fixed route bus system will coordinate schedules with Cascades East Transit which provides intercity bus service to transit centers in the region.
