BEND, OR -- Brooks Resources and the Bend La Pine Schools Education Foundation have joined the Van Valkenburg Family to establish a memorial fund. The fund will honor Charlotte Van Valkenburg who was head coach of the Summit High Robotics team.  She died in September in a car accident. Valerie Yost at Brooks Resources says Charlotte’s impact on young women in the community was profound. The memorial fund will provide help to high school robotics teams and programs throughout Central Oregon
