Prineville Man Arrested After High Speed Chase

REDMOND, OR -- Sheriff’s Deputies arrested a Prineville man after a hi-speed chase. Sergeant William Bailey says the incident started just after 7-30 yesterday morning when a deputy spotted a vehicle without a front license plate. Bailey says the chase started northeast of Redmond and hit speeds of 78 miles an hour. He says the driver lost a right rear tire shortly after the pursuit started then, a short time later, lost a second tire and ended up in a ditch. 27 year old Kent A. Vannorsdall is jailed on several felony drug charges as well as Reckless Endangering and Driving While Suspended.
