BEND,. OR -- The flu season has arrived in Central Oregon. Deschutes County Health Services reports flu cases have picked up noticeably in the last few weeks. A new report on confirmed flu cases will be released later today. Deschutes Health urges anyone with the flu or flu like symptoms to stay home and don’t go to work or school as you’ll only spread the virus. The agency says flu shots are strongly recommended for babies but only after they are 6-months old.
