BEND, OR -- The Deschutes County D-A, the sheriff and Bend police are partnering to address illegal marijuana activity. John Hummel says they want to develop tools and resources for the public, so the public can, in turn, help them catch crooks. Hummel says the team is looking for two more volunteers for a 20 member Public Focus Group Meeting in February. Hummel says he thinks people may be confused about what is legal and what is not legal because state lawmakers keep changing marijuana laws. The focus group will meet February 12^th.
