BEND, OR -- Five arts organizations in Central Oregon have been awarded Operating Support Grants from the Oregon Arts Commission. Grants were awarded to Bend Film Festival, Sisters Folk Festival, Sunriver Music Festival, High Desert Museum and Tower Theater. The total of the five grants is more than 41-thousand dollars and range from 44-hundred to more than 18-thousand dollars. The grants are for Operational Support, meaning the money can be used for anything the arts organizations need from paying an electric bill to adding staff.
