BEND, OR -- There’s panel discussion this evening about how biosciences are changing medicine and health outcomes. Bend Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Katie Brooks says these Bend companies develop drugs, biotechnology and bioscience that applies new ways of curing disease. She says they use different approaches to treat cancer, childhood  and lifetime diseases such as assisting the body in treating itself including getting new drugs into the body in an efficient way. The panel discussion about biosciences is being held this evening from 5-to-7pm at 10 Barrel East Side Pub. The event costs 25-dollars for Bend Chamber members, 35-dollars for non-members.
