BEND, OR -- Gunfire inside an apartment with two adults and two children led to the arrest of a Bend man Friday night. Police were called a little after 9 to the Golden Pines Apartments on N.E. Purcell Boulevard. An argument in the apartment led to the firing of a handgun. No one was injured. The handgun was left behind. The suspect was identified as an extended family member, 37-year-old Luis Almanza-Corona, who fled to Redmond. Just before 10 p.m. the suspect’s vehicle was spotted.
