BEND, OR -- Beginning today the City of Bend will give 60 days’ notice to people camping on Juniper Ridge. The city Property Manager Heme (hem-me) Gomez says there aren’t resources in  Bend where people can go. He says they are working with social service providers and area shelters to determine if they can alleviate some of the problem. Gomez says the residents will also receive a 30-day notice to leave and then a final 24-hour notice. There are an estimated 70 campsites on the 15-hundred-acre Juniper Ridge site. In mid-April constructyion is to start on a sewer line project crossing Juniper Ridge
