SUNRIVER, OR -- Sunriver Resort has announced its spending $40,000,000 within five years on improvements and upgrades. Managing Director Tom O’Shea says the work at the new Aquatic Center at The Cove has already begun. The center will have a water slide and lazy river with an indoor pool, making it a year-round complex. The Aquatic Center will open Memorial Day 2021. O’Shea says 12-million dollars of renovations to 190 guest rooms and suites has also already started. They will finish about 44 rooms before the summer season then restart the work and finish in time for the first quarter of 2022.Sunriver will also restore the stables building and have new riding trails this year.
