SALEM, OR -- Two Republicans from Bend, State Senator Tim Knopp and State Representative Cheri Helt did not join fellow Republicans who walked out of the State Capitol yesterday. The walkout led to the Senate President and Speaker of the House to adjourn their respective chambers due to a lack of a quorum. Republicans walked out over their demand that the Cap and Invest Bill be sent to the voters.
