(Gaston, OR) -- Days after a Gaston man was cited for posting warning signs about a drop-off under Hagg Lake, Washington County has its own warning signs up. Michael Medill says he posted the signs because he wanted to save lives by warning swimmers of a dangerously steep drop-off at the bottom of the lake. He says the county cited him and fined him five-thousand dollars for bolting his homemade signs on trees and infrastructure at the Sain Creek picnic area at the lake. A family of four, including a three-year-old boy, drowned in Hagg Lake last month.
