(Portland, OR) -- A man is being treated at a Portland hospital after he nearly drowned in the Willamette River. Portland fire crews responded to a call about a man who was struggling to keep his head above water near the Morrison Bridge around 8:20 last night. After rescue crews pulled the man out, he was taken to Oregon Health & Science University Hospital. Portland Fire & Rescue officials say it's not clear how the man ended up in the river.
