(Portland, OR) -- This week, the Multnomah County Commission will take up a proposal regarding regulation of the sale and use of e-cigarettes. The county health department is scheduled tomorrow to go before the Portland City Council with a preview of the proposal, which would ban minors from buying and using e-cigarettes and ban "vaping" where smoking tobacco is currently outlawed. Health officials say more than ten percent of high-school students in the county have tried e-cigarettes.
