(Salem, OR)  --  A Mill Creek man accused of killing his grandmother and seriously injuring his grandfather is facing a murder charge.  Shane Hathaway is charged with second-degree murder in the death of Betty Sorg on January 15th, and with attempted second-degree murder in the attack that left James Sorg injured.  Police say Hathaway has schizophrenia and had threatened his grandparents in the past.  Hathaway's trial is set for March 27th.
