(Beaverton, OR) -- A new high school is on the horizon in Beaverton. The Beaverton School District says it will use a portion of the money from its 2014 bond measure to build a new high school in the South Cooper Mountain area. Officials say the new school will help alleviate overcrowding at four of Beaverton's five high schools. The school's opening is tentatively scheduled for September 2017.
