(Albany, OR)  --  A man is in custody after he was accused of beating and sexually assaulting an Albany woman while imprisoning her in her own home.  Authorities say 37-year-old Craig Lazon tied up the victim on February 24th and sexually assaulted her, beat her, and choked her with a phone cord.  Police say Lazon forced the victim into his vehicle on March 2nd and told her he was going to kill her and dispose of her body, but she managed to escape.  Bail for Lazon is set at a half-million dollars.
