(Eugene, OR) -- Plans for a memorial are pending for a man who served as a state attorney general and a president of the University of Oregon. Dave Frohnmayer died Monday in Eugene at age 74. Family members told the "Portland Tribune" that Frohnmayer battled prostate cancer for more than five years. Governor Kate Brown characterized Frohnmayer as "brilliant" and a public servant with a deep love for Oregon.
