Police: Gun Violence In Portland More Frequent

(Portland, OR)  --  The Portland Police Bureau says gang-related gun violence is on the rise.  Authorities say 25 gang-related shootings have taken place in the city during the month of May alone.  The latest shooting happened around eight o'clock last night in the area of Southeast Market and 183rd Avenue, but police say there were no reports of injuries.  The three suspects involved in that shooting had fled by the time officers arrived.
