(Portland, OR)  --  Portland Mayor Charlie Hales is calling on drivers to be more cautious.  The mayor made the remarks yesterday during a transportation safety meeting at City Hall.  He called on drivers to look around, slow down, pay attention, get rid of the telephone, use common sense, and follow the law.  Hales said he's disturbed by the number of car-bike crashes in recent weeks that have resulted in injury and death.
