(Mt. Hood, OR)  --  A man who fell about 400 feet to his death while climbing Mount Hood with his grandson is identified as an Idaho resident.  Clackamas County sheriff's deputies say 66-year-old Ward Maxfield of Paul, Idaho fell yesterday morning from Hot Rocks, just below the Hogsback area.  Members of the climbing party performed CPR on Maxfield, but he died by the time paramedics arrived.  Maxfield was described as an experienced hiker who was in good physical condition.
