(Olympia, WA) -- Governor Jay Inslee wants human remains known as Kennewick Man transferred to Washington's Native American tribes. DNA evidence recently linked the 85-hundred-year-old remains, which were discovered in Kennewick in 1996, to Washington tribes. The governor has asked the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to return the remains to the tribes for suitable reburial. Inslee says it's time to respect the tribes' repeated requests for repatriation.
