Residents Evacuate Ahead Of WA Wildfires

(Waterville, WA)  --  Firefighters are busy in Douglas County, Washington, battling wildfires that have scorched about 22-thousand acres of brush near the community of Waterville.  There have been no reports of injuries or any damage to buildings in the area.  The fires are believed to have been started by lightning around six p.m. Friday.  Nearly 300 firefighters from across Washington are involved in containing the fires, which have been named the Douglas County Complex fires.
