(Vancouver, WA)  --  Fire officials are investigating two fires that destroyed three homes in Vancouver.  The first fire broke out in a field on Buena Vista Drive around 5:30 p.m. yesterday, and spread to a nearby house.  The second blaze was reported about two miles away, and burned two homes on Southeast Hillcrest Drive.  Officials say embers from that fire settled into a field and set it ablaze.  There were no injuries resulting from either fire.
