DA: Yamhill Deputy Justified In Shooting Death of Suspect

(McMinnville, OR)  --  The Yamhill County district attorney says a sheriff's deputy was justified when he shot and killed a suspect who was fleeing a traffic stop.  Deputy Richard Broyles shot 24-year-old Kevin Lamont Judson to death on July 1st after Judson scuffled with Broyles and tried to drive away in his patrol vehicle.  Officials say Broyles was involved in a foot chase with Judson prior to the shooting and commanded him to stop, but Judson refused and a stun gun failed to stop him.
