WA State Auditor Facing New Federal Charges

(Seattle, WA)  --  A new indictment returned against Washington State Auditor Troy Kelley outlines additional federal charges.  The "News Tribune" reports the superseding indictment, which was handed up yesterday, contains allegations that Kelley tried to launder money and evade federal taxes as recently as March 15th, the day before federal agents raided his home.  The number of criminal counts against Kelley now totals 17, including charges that he stole millions of dollars from customers of the title company he operated.
