(Bend, OR) -- Two hikers are safe after they spent Saturday night on South Sister mountain when they became lost coming down the peak. The Deschutes County Sheriff's Office got an emergency call Saturday night from Mohammed Alnemer who said he and another hiker were lost in an icy area, but had no shelter or supplies with them. Rescue crews had to wait until Sunday morning to search for them due to the steep terrain. The two hikers were cold and tired, but otherwise all right.
