Man Gets Five Years For Deadly Shooting

(Portland, OR)  --  A man who accidentally shot his friend to death is headed to prison.  Isaiah Horatio Hayes has been sentenced to five years behind bars for the shooting that killed Beketel Sleeper-Kincaid on March 8th.  Authorities say the nine-millimeter handgun went off when Sleeper-Kincaid passed the gun to Hayes as they were in a car traveling through North Portland.  Hayes pleaded guilty to charges of criminally-negligent homicide and being a felon in possession of a firearm.
