(Undated)  --  A new WalletHub.com analysis shows the Portland area is among the top cold-weather destinations in the U.S.  The most recent State of the American Traveler survey ranks Portland-Vancouver-Hillsboro at Number Twelve for the area's appeal as a fun-filled and wallet-friendly winter destination.  Data used for the rankings include the cost of staying at local resorts and availability of attractions with conditions that are ideal for skiers.  WalletHub ranks the Atlanta area as the nation's top cold-weather destination, and the Seattle-Tacoma-Bellevue area is ranked eleventh.
