Inslee "Disappointed" By Feds' Denial Of Individual Wildfire Assistance

(Olympia, WA)  --  Washington Governor Jay Inslee says he's disappointed that the federal government has denied his request for assistance for families impacted by the summer wildfire season.  The request was for FEMA to give impacted communities access to home repairs, rental assistance, and replacement of household items.  Officials say this summer's wildfires destroyed 146 homes across Washington and damaged another 476, with nearly two-thirds uninsured or underinsured.  Inslee says he's committed to helping the affected communities on the road to recovery.
