(Albany, OR)  --  A woman is facing criminal charges following the death of her husband near Albany.  Sheriff's deputies say 62-year-old Roberta Samard is charged with manslaughter in the death of 57-year-old Kenneth Arlen Samard, who was found dead in their home around 6:10 yesterday morning.  Investigators say the victim was shot with a handgun while his wife apparently tried to shoot herself.  An autopsy is scheduled for today.
