(Portland, OR)  --  Record amounts of rainfall are causing headaches for drivers across northwestern Oregon and southwestern Washington.  Roads have been washed out, vehicles have been damaged, and businesses and homes have flooded.  A flood emergency is in effect in Cowlitz County, Washington and several landslides have been reported north of Kalama [[ kah-LAM-ah ]] River Road.  A home was hit by a landslide with the occupant trapped inside, but that person was rescued and taken to a hospital.
