Investigation Conducted Into Glitch Leading To Premature Prisoner Release

(Tumwater, WA)  --  Governor Jay Inslee's office is leading an investigation into why it's taken so long to remedy a computer glitch that led to more than three-thousand inmates being released from Washington prisons by mistake.  The state Department of Corrections says a repair for the software glitch has been delayed 16 times, and the investigation aims to determine why.  The department says it hopes to have the problem fixed by January 7th.
