(Seattle, WA)  --  Sales of new boats are hot in Washington.  The Northwest Marine Trade Association says new boat sales in the state rose more than 33-percent during the first quarter of this year, with sales up 53-percent in March alone.  Association president George Harris told KOMO-TV the industry has seen steady growth over the past several years and reflects consumer confidence.  State records show the most popular boats sold in Washington measure 26 feet or less.
